Our Goal
We want our students to come away from their experience at Sue Albert’s with a better understanding and a new love for the art of dance.
Our goal at Sue Albert’s School of Dance is to help our students develop their own natural coordination, poise and talents through the art of dance, and at the same time provide them with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
The Studio
We classify ourself in regards to the level of experience and education we have when we teach.
Sue Albert’s School of Dance was established in August 1992 by Sue Albert after having taught at the Suburban North YMCA in Catasauqua for 20 years where she started their dance program. She opened her own Studio with a staff of two teachers including herself, along with a secretary, operating in a classroom in the St. Lawrence School building in Catasauqua. As the number of students increased, so did the Studio and the staff, eventually expanding to two classrooms, a dancewear store, and a teaching staff of five.
In July 2010 the studio moved to a newer, larger facility in Catasauqua with over 1,600 square feet of teaching space. She continues to operate at those levels today, providing quality dance instruction at a reasonable price while keeping it fun for her students.

Our staff has over 50 years of experience in dance instruction, which helps us convey to our students the visual beauty of dance.
Our staff at Sue Albert’s is fully prepared to guide your child through the nuances of dance while at the same time developing their poise, building their self esteem, and keeping it fun.

All tuition is due the first class of each month, and is a monthly fee. A late fee is assessed if payment is not made the first week of classes for the month. Please make all checks payable to Sue Albert’s School of Dance. RECEIPTS ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. PLEASE KEEP THEM (No money refunded.) Tuition is the same if there are 3, 4 or 5 lessons in a month.

Informational letters are electronically mailed to students throughout the year to notify the parents of what is going on in our Studio, as well as when the Studio will be closed. Please retain them for your reference. When you are in the Studio, please read the notes on the bulletin board.
For your convenience, we will operate a small dancewear store. Some of the items we offer are shoes, leotards, and other dancewear at prices competitive to local dancewear outlets, without the hassle of driving to those stores. The store will be open during Studio hours beginning with the Open House/Registration dates. Please stop in and see what we have to offer.

Participation awards are presented each year at the Recital to students reaching specified years of participation.

PARENT OBSERVATION
Parents and grandparents are welcome to observe the last class in the month of December.
FUNDRAISER
To be held in October, participation is optional. Monies raised are credited to individual student’s account which will be used for their Recital costume fee.
CHRISTMAS PARTY
To be held during the last class in December. All students have refreshments and a gift exchange.
RECITAL
Our annual Recital is held in early June. All students are encouraged to participate. The staff and students get very involved in putting on a quality show. If you would like to help out at the Recital please let us know. Recital fees are dependent on the costumes purchased. More information on the Recital will follow at a later date.
